Waffles, waffles, wherefore art thou, waffles? The past few days our waffles have been fairly wham bam thank you ma’am as we clean out our fridge in preparation for… well, we’ll let you know tomorrow what we’ve been preparing for. For now, enjoy this easy creamy creation.
- waffle mix
- 1/2 a pear, sliced
- 1/8 cup shredded gruyere
- 2 eggs
1. While the waffle iron is heating up, place pear slices inside.
2. Mix waffle mix according to instructions. Once the waffle maker is ready, pour mix on top of pears and sprinkle cheese on top of the waffle mix.
3. Crack open two eggs, fry them, spice them, and set aside.
4. Once your waffle iron lets you know that your waffles are done, plate and drizzle or drown in maple syrup. Slide your eggs on top and enjoy this late morning brunch as much as we did.
