Poor Woman’s Guacamole

This is a quick fix, gotta have that guac recipe. Sometimes you just have to have freshly made guacamole, but you may not have a legitimate excuse for leaving the house and spending anywhere between $15 to $30 dollars on a single homemade dish. As long as you have avocados, we’re in business.

We just used one avocado for this, so double or triple or quadruple as necessary.

Cumin, chile powder, salt, pepper, garlic, tomato paste, lime juice, and a fresh jalapeño made our delicious Poor Woman’s guacamole this morning. Substitute any of these with a similar spice you already have if need be. If you actually have tomatoes or salsa, use that instead of the paste. We ate all of our salsa, so we made do. Your turn! Tell us a Poor Woman’s version of something that you have whipped up.

Enjoy! We put ours on top of our savory Baked Scrambled Egg Waffles.

Bisous,
